Now that our thoughts are turning to travel again, people are dreaming about where they might go on future trips. Airbnb has just released a list of the most coveted Airbnb stay in every state in the US. Here are the picks from ten states in the US, so you can check out the properties currently fuelling travelers' wanderlust.

Meadowlark Treehouse, Montana

Nestled on five wooded acres, Meadowlark Treehouse in Montana is a two-story treehouse with luxury amenities. It sleeps four people and has two living trees growing through the treehouse interior and two trees coming through the decks. Its entrance is a spiral staircase custom crafted around a giant Douglas fir tree. This treehouse has 500 sq ft of living space with two outside deck areas, and it has a kitchen, dishwasher, stove, 1.5 bathrooms and a campfire ring. It is located 30 minutes away from Glacier National Park, and minutes from Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Big Idaho Potato Hotel

Fancy staying in a giant potato in Idaho? Recycled from the Idaho Potato Commission’s Big Idaho Potato Tour, this six-ton potato has been converted to a cozy getaway for two people. It has a custom-built bed, indoor fireplace, power outlets for electronic devices, a mini-fridge and old records to play. There is also a customized silo that has been turned into a spa retreat, and is perfect for soaking while looking up at the stars.

Storybook Castle BnB, Alabama

The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle in Alabama, with the Sheldon descendants living in the rest of the home. It sleeps three people and has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, double sink and microwave and a grill is available outside. Coffee and tea is always available with a breakfast option upon request. Mosher Castle, with its moat and dragon, is next door and guests are permitted to walk the grounds of both castles.

Navajo Hogan, Arizona

Located in a secluded and remote location of Navajo Nation in Arizona, this one-room earth home is called a hogan and can accommodate three people. It is very basic with minimalist essentials for camping, no electricity or running water, It is located along the Little Colorado River, and is 29 miles east of the Grand Canyon and a one-hour drive north of Flagstaff. Flashlights, a battery-operated lantern and five gallons of water are provided, and firewood is available for the large stove outside.

Treehouse, Utah

If you fancy going on a real treehouse adventure, this escape in Utah is embraced by a 200-year-old fir. It features a loft bedroom for two people with a skylight, apartment-style kitchen, bathroom, and main room with 180-degree glass windows to give you with great views of the Uintas. There's a large deck to chill out on, or you can fit in a quick exercise session using the treehouse's yoga mats and foam roller. You can work remotely thanks to its wifi, and entertainment options include a TV, BluRay player, DVD collection and Chromecast.

Majestree, Oregon

The Majestree treehouse is located in Takilma, Oregon, and it can sleep six to seven people. It sits 47 ft off of the ground and is accessed by stairs and suspension bridges. It has a kitchenette and bathroom and is located close to the Oregon Caves National Monument, Redwood National Forest and Oregon coast. Guests have access to the main lodge where a full to-go style breakfast is served mid-March through 31 October. A continental breakfast that is included in the cost of your stay is provided at other times. Guests can also avail of a common fire pit area and seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

Tiny House, Tennessee

Stay at a tiny house in Tennessee in which every inch is put to good use. It sleeps four people in a queen-sized bed and day bed, and it has repurposed vintage cabinets and a claw-foot tub as well as modern appliances and air conditioning. Entertainment options include a projector and screen and Netflix. The house is located in a quiet backyard in the middle of Nashville's Design District, and it's ten minutes to downtown and within walking distance of coffee shops and bars.

Woodland Chalet, Pennsylvania

This storybook chalet is nestled in a woodland setting in the Masthope Mountain community in Pennsylvania. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms and has a flagstone path, window boxes and leaded glass. There are two bathrooms, a wood stove with logs and rustic pine floors. The chalet is in the heart of the Poconos mountains and is minutes away from skiing, kayaking and tubing locations. You can walk to the Delaware River in five minutes.

Ranch House, Nevada

This small home is set on a ranch in Sandy Valley, Nevada, and you can try horseback riding, cattle drives and rodeo events, when available. It sleeps three people, and guests can enjoy the tranquility of the Mojave Desert. It is located near Death Valley and Tecopa Hot Springs, and is a great place for gazing at the stars. You can cater for yourself as a stove and fridge is provided, but meals can also be arranged in the ranch house next to the tiny house.

Engine 24 Firehouse, Louisiana

One of New Orleans' most unique vacation lodging properties, the 19th century Engine Firehouse sleeps 14 people in seven bedrooms. It's an authentic historic firehouse with modern amenities, and is located near the French Quarter in the Faubourg Marigny. Renovated by a local architect, Firehouse guests have access to the kitchen upstairs, courtyard and refreshment bar downstairs. There are two living areas and a dining nook.
