A protected Ramsar wetland site of international importance, the lakes and marshes that make up the Laguna de Pitillas provide a home for around 160 permanent and migratory species, including marsh harriers, great bitterns and even ospreys. The visitor centre has free binoculars (deposit required) and trail maps. It's 11km southeast of Olite off the NA5330.
