Tioman’s commercial hub is a good, strategic central location from which to explore the rest of the island, and the beach on the southern end of town is pleasant enough. There's not much here in the way of bars, decent restaurants or character, though the duty-free stores all cluster here and this is also where you'll find the island's sole ATM. Treat it as a service area.
