This friendly museum has two floors and offers naturalists or the curious a peek at flora, fauna and geology they might not see otherwise. The bird exhibits are especially colourful, and there are displays of butterflies, insects and animals, as well. The seasons of Daisen are brought to life in large screen displays, and overall, it's an excellent – if small – museum, perfect for waiting out a rain cloud before hiking or for meeting at afterwards.
