Otres 1 is the first stretch of sand along Otres Beach. It's changing fast as Chinese companies take over from predominantly Western-owned businesses and either run them as is or build gaudy new establishments. A few Western holdouts remain and the beach is still lovely if you have a day to kill and want to escape the calamity that is the rest of Sihanoukville.
