Before moving to Reno/Lake Tahoe, Tamara Gane spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She writes about hotels, the outdoors, national parks and wine country, among other subjects. Her writing and photography has appeared in dozens of publications, including Lonely Planet, The Washington Post, Wine Enthusiast, Hearst Newspaper Group, the USA TODAY Network, Travel & Leisure and more.
