About Tallah
I'm Tallah and I'm named after a beautiful reservoir in Scottish Borders. I've lived in Edinburgh my whole life, and with great food, coffee and nightlife to be found here, I still love getting out and about in the city most weekends as there's always something new to try.
I'm the Music Editor of The Skinny, Scotland's largest independent cultural journalism magazine, which we publish on a monthly basis. I used to be in a band and have been DJing for 20 years, and through my passion for music I love to travel and have spent a lot of time abroad writing about music festivals for work, including NOS Alive in Lisbon, Portugal, Eurosonic in Groningen, Netherlands, SPOT Festival in Aarhus, Denmark and Tallinn Music Week in Estonia.
I've been going to the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona now for almost 10 years, and have loved visiting cities like New York, Stockholm, Valencia, Copenhagen, Reykjavík, Berlin, Paris and Warsaw over the years, soaking up the local culture wherever I go, eating and drinking everything in sight, and seeing as much live music and art as I can.
