About Sarah
I cut my travelling teeth InterRailing around Europe, before spending a year country-hopping from Mexico to Chile. Now an award-winning freelance travel writer specialising in Africa and Latin America, I’ve gone in search of semi-habituated gorillas in Uganda, sampled llama jerky in Bolivia and scaled volcanoes in Nicaragua, all in the name of work.
Based in London – but usually somewhere else – I’ve authored guidebooks to Morocco and Puerto Rico for Lonely Planet and contributed to several of their inspirational coffee-table books, including Sustainable Escapes, Global Distillery Tour and In Her Footsteps. I also write for publications such as Wanderlust, The Guardian and Conde Nast Traveller.
