About Robin
I'm a Scottish travel writer who has been travelling the planet for over two decades, spending time and working in over 100 countries. I've taken trains all the way to Hong Kong, been right round Australia three times and visited over 500 cities, but hand on tartan heart Scotland remains my number one destination. And it is still for me the world's most underrated country.
I do love others; too many to mention. I write about them - enthusiastically and passionately - for newspapers and magazines across five continents. I've written over 30 travel books and talk travel on TV and radio too. In short, I live and breathe travel.
