About Meena
In my 20s, I set out to make travel a way of life, and somehow I’ve managed to do it. As a journalist, I've spent more than a decade bouncing between New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, becoming an expert tourist in each place along the way. I've contributed to Lonely Planet guidebooks on Iceland, Chicago, New York City and Texas. I’ve also traveled extensively across the U.S., Europe, and Asia and crossed my seventh continent – Antarctica –off of my list in 2024.
