About Luigi
I hold a PhD in Design but I only design maps, which is ironic because I tend to get lost easily. Having lived in Amsterdam, Boston and Doha, I am now based in Milan, where I've founded a studio aiming to merge graphic design with geography. Since 2013, I've been an author for Lonely Planet Italy and work as a travel writer. I have a soft spot for the Middle East and Asia and dedicate my free time to studying Levantine Arabic and Chinese languages.
