About Kwin
Kwin is a freelance travel writer and editor based in Washington, DC. His work has appeared in print and digital publications, including Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Condé Nast Traveler, TripAdvisor, and others. Kwin is also the Editor-in-Chief for Vacationer Magazine, an LGBTQ+ travel website created to showcase the community’s diversity. His editorial experience of more than 20 years includes working as a managing digital producer for Travel Channel and a content manager for Travel Leaders Group.
Some of Kwin’s favorite adventures are visiting island resorts in the Maldives; going on a safari in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, mingling with revelers at Bear Week in Sitges, Spain, hang gliding off Pedra Bonita in Rio de Janeiro, and taking a Black walking tour through Paris.
