Chaotic by name and by nature, my roots are in the city of Edinburgh, but my life is a whirlwind of adventures around Scotland, which I share online, full-time, as The Chaotic Scot; my words and travel tips can also be found in the Lonely Planet guidebooks. My happiness is centered around sea air, scenic walks, smoky drams of single malt, delicious local larder, daydreams on public transport (I don’t drive!) and cozy, quirky places to rest my head.
