A British-born travel and feature writer, I now live and work in Vancouver. I’ve travelled and written extensively about Canada and British Columbia for more than 150 different publications and outlets around the world, and I’ve worked on more than 30 Lonely Planet guidebooks. Spare time means birdwatching with partner Maggie, trying to grow plants in our tiny balcony garden and playing with Max the cat, aka the ginger haggis. My all-time favourite trip?
