Some say the cans could become a collector’s item, others think they may have already made it to the great recycling plant in the sky, but somewhere in the Indianapolis area there are over 20,000 beer cans in circulation with the words ‘Tom Brady Sux’ written on the bottom.

The cans are filled with Sun King Brewery’s Wee Mac Scottish Ale and are the result of a practical joke by a canning line employee. The brewery is known for printing amusing phrases on the bottom of its cans next to the date stamp but the words are not usually so personal. The canning took place in May, when Brady, a New England Patriots quarterback, was involved in the ‘deflategate’ football scandal.
