United States authorities have returned about 20 ancient artefacts to Peru. The objects, which include pottery looted from ancient graves that date back to the 16th Century, were discovered by US customs agents during four investigations over several years. Investigators say the pre-Columbian items were purchased by middlemen from local Peruvian farmers who robbed the burial sites. Read more: bbc.com
