Move over Magic Mike, Magic Mary, that is the Queen Mary ocean liner , is hosting an evening full of tricks and illusions, plus ghost tours and cocktails.
The ship has been a permanent feature of the Long Beach waterfront since retiring there in 1967 when it became a tourist attraction for people interested in exploring luxury life on the high seas from the boat’s 1930s to 1950s heyday. From 8-10 April visitors will also be able to enjoy performances from the Academy of Magical Arts and hear tales of terror aboard one of America’s most haunted places – with an expertly mixed cocktail to help suspend disbelief and/or calm the nerves.
